Fly Tying

Chinook Trophy

After a lapse of many years, the Chinook Trophy has been resurrected. It was won by Oscar Boivin with a 28lb 2oz Chinook. Congratulations Oscar.

Fishing Forever

Another great fishing day for about 25 senior citizens from local lodges who spent a day on the water, salmon fishing in volunteers boats. Several fish were landed, from 4lbs to 20lbs. The excursion was followed by a barbecue lunch at the French Creek campground.Sunshine but a little choppy as we left at 7.00am. The waves didn't stop Larry Wilson and Neil Mulvaney of Eagle Park from doing some serious fishing. They both caught fish and had a great time as you can see below. Pat Caldwell of Eagle Park Lodge and Floyd the captain who donated his boat are in the background.
